Before & After School Care

Before and after school childcare for students in the MRH School District is provided by the Discover Club program. Discover Club offers a positive, safe, and stimulating environment for children from 3 to 12 years of age.

Hours

The Discover Club hours are as follows:

Elementary

AM Care = 6:30 a.m.- 6:55 a.m. (at ECC)
PM Care = End of school day through 6:00 p.m.

ECC

AM Care = 6:30 a.m.- 7:45 a.m. (at ECC)
PM Care = End of school day through 6:00 p.m.

Locations

Grades PreK-2 meet at the MRH Early Childhood Center for A.M. and P.M.
Grades 3-6 meet at the MRH Early Childhood Center for A.M. only. P.M. meets at the MRH Elementary School.

Rates for 2017-2018 School Year (rates subject to change) 

Non-refundable registration fee = $25.00 (1 student), $35.00 (2 or more students)

*Registration is June 6, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Research and Design Center (MS/HS Library) located at 7539 Manchester Road, 63143. 

AM Care only = $21.00 weekly ($4.20/daily)
PM Care only = $38.00 weekly ($7.60/daily)
AM and PM Care = $58.00 weekly ($11.60/daily)
Two days enrolled, pay daily rate. Three or more days enrolled, pay weekly rate. Child/ren must be enrolled for at least two days per week.

10% discount: applies to second child's tuition and additional children only.

$30.00/child for professional development days (limited availability). Located at the ECC.

Scholarships are not available, but we do accept state pay.

Enrollment packets can be picked up at the Early Childhood Center and Elementary School offices. Please be aware that space is limited.

The Discover Club program intends to ensure a positive, safe, and stimulating environment for students. The staff will work together to accomplish the following goals:

  • Provide individualized care for each student according to his or her capabilities and interests.
  • Handle matters of discipline in a fair and constructive manner.
  • Enhance the self-image of each student by helping him or her feel respected and valued.
  • Provide for the safety and welfare of students in every possible way.
