Best Effort

If you don’t make your best effort today, when will you do it?  Postponing your best effort is a really bad habit to get into.  It leads to an acceptance of mediocrity which makes it really difficult to summon up your best when you need to.

Welcome Back MRHHS

Our philosophy is simple, teachers have a right to teach and students have a right to learn. Students, I expect you to behave and perform and will hold you to that. Today, get to know your teachers a bit and get the feel of your schedule.  We have a unique week one schedule which I attempted to email all of you.  If you are not getting my emails, let the tech desk know. We have all classes and advisory meeting all week, every day.

We love all of you and that means we have a genuine concern for your well-being and we will give you all we got.  It’s going to be your best year ever because you are going to invest in your academic and social growth.

What do you do with nice days?

When it’s nice out students, what do you do?  It’s very healthy for you to put your phone and laptop aside and go outside and move.   Being outside is part of our human nature and natural instinct. Being surrounded by natural light, the wind, the weather and outside elements is a healthy thing.  When we get breaks in our winter with unusually nice days, take advantage.

"Got to" to "Get to"

Let’s change the phrase “got to” to “ to “get to.”  I “get to” go to school.  When you change got to, to get to watch your life change.  Instead of “ I got to do this” I “get to do this.”  Got to, to get to is powerful and makes you a more grateful person.
