MRH Music Instructor Nominated for Acting Award by STL Theatre Circle

MRH ECC music teacher and thespian Matt PentecostAdd "honored thespian" to Matt Pentecost's list of titles, on top of being the MRH Early Childhood Center music teacher.

Pentecost is nominated this year as “Outstanding Actor in a Musical” by the St. Louis Theater Circle for his performance in “The Sweet Smell of Success” at New Line Theatre. The Circle today released its 2018 award nominees for locally produced professional theater in 2017. This is the sixth year of the awards.

Pentecost will have some serious competition.  Other nominees are Jay Matt Pentecost on stage at New Line TheatreArmstrong Johnson from the Muny's production of "Newsies," Jeffrey Schecter from "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," also at the Muny, and others.

The awards will be announced at a 7 p.m. ceremony on March 26 at the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts, 130 Edgar Rd, in Webster Groves.
